KUALA LUMPUR: The Prime Minister's special award is to be presented for the first time in recognition of the most outstanding tourism industry or organisation.
This category is among 13 others under the Malaysia Tourism Awards 2008-2009.
The others include best innovative foreign tour operator, best innovative tourism magazine, best tour operator and best hotel services. The awards are presented every two years.
A gala dinner will be held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre on Saturday. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak will be present.
